@ Tommi:

Interestingly, my score at DriveScore was 62. Just like WalkScore, I think this is extremely low for our neighbourhood. It generated some very strange results as well. Last time I looked, the National Library was in Wellington, not 2.46 miles away from my home. Although I wouldn't complain if it were that close to me. ;)
I guess these services will improve over time, and are reliant on their search engine's capability of finding businesses listed in any given neighbourhood.

Thanks for the link. :)

My walk score is 35. That’s not so bad.
This service can be rather useful especially for those
who are going to buy a house or just want to estimate their present location. I have also tried one more service at
http://drivescore.fizber.com/. It is called Drive Score.
With the help of it you can see how close establishments are by car. My result is 50. Drive Score calculates your score based on the number of places within a convenient driving distance. The greater the number of businesses nearby the higher the drive score.

I genuinely understand how WP works and how things are structured to produce the wonderful blogs that we all take for granted.

Code is poetry. So they say...

Yes, it's more effort doing it yourself but on the other hand may be preferable to asking Alice :-)

Okay, so the upshot is...
no one actually knows the how or why of handedness, but there are multiple theories floating around that could or could not be accurate.

Right then. Or is that Left then?
We shall settle down to continue watching how the motor skills develop. It is actually quite interesting, in a paint drying sort of way. One day it seems to be one side is gaining dominance, then the next day the other side steps up and does the same. Quite fascinating.

Hi Josette,
It is fair to say that the fiction books I've been choosing are in the class of "easy reading", so it isn't that hard to read quickly.
I visited your blog and was inspired by your Challenges page. I hope you don't mind, but I think I might {pinch the idea} I mean, join the challenge. ;)
